Practice nurses are qualified and registered nurses. They can help with health issues such as family planning, healthy living advice, blood pressure checks and dressings. Practice nurses run clinics for long-term health conditions such as asthma or diabtes, minor ailments clinics, stop smoking clinics, NHS Health Checks clinics, Cervical Screening clinics and many more. 


Health Care Assistant

Healthcare assistants support practice nurses in the practice and carry out tasks such as phlebotomy (taking blood), blood pressure measurement, ECGs (Echo Cardiograms) and Spirometry to name a few.
