Home Visits
Whilst we encourage our patients to come to surgery, where we have the proper equipment and facilities available, we do appreciate this is not always possible. You may only request a home visit if you are housebound or are to ill to visit the practice. In this respect, if you do need a home visit, please telephone before 10.00 am.
This helps us to plan our calls. Urgent visits requested after 10 am will be made of course, but non-urgent visits may have to wait until the next day.
You can be visited at home by a community nurse, if you are referred by you GP.
We now have paramedics employed by the federation of Aldershot GPs who are helping us with home visits. They maybe able to come out sooner than a GP and spend more time doing an assessment before discussing management with your GP.
