Why are we stopping ear syringing? Ear syringing is known to lead to ear infections, perforated ear drums and tinnitus (persistent noise). It is essential that we provide effective and safe treatment.

New Health Check Invitations
🩺 As of the 1st April We’re Introducing a New System for Health Check Invitations
To help us better manage and streamline your care, we’re introducing a new clinical system that allows us to combine all your health checks into one coordinated appointment. This means you’ll be invited for any routine checks you’re due for – such as blood tests, annual reviews, or screening reminders – at the same time, helping to reduce multiple visits and improve continuity of care.
📲 What Does This Mean for You?
As part of this change, you may start receiving text messages that look a little different from the usual ones you get from us (our standard Princes Gardens Surgery system). These new messages are being sent through a different, secure system we’re using to manage these combined health check invites.
We want to reassure you that:
✅ These messages are not scams – they are genuine messages
from the practice, sent through our new system.
✅ You may receive a link to book an appointment or fill in a health questionnaire as part of your invite.
✅ You will still receive reminders for booked appointments and questionnaires via our usual Princes Gardens Surgery text system as well.
💬 Unsure About a Message?
If you’re ever uncertain about a message you’ve received, please don’t hesitate to contact the practice directly. We’re always happy to confirm whether a message is genuine and answer any questions you may have.

Please indicate the nature and urgency of your problem so we can help you as efficiently as possible. This will ensure that you are booked in with the correct healthcare professional and that the quickest route to treatment or advice is taken.

Synchronize your prescriptions
Are you ordering your prescriptions more than once a month? Ask to synchronize your prescription!
If you are collecting repeat medications several times a month you may benefit from synchronizing your prescriptions to bring them all in line so you can collect them all at the same time. Please complete the form and we will try and assist you where possible.
